Gale and Gwenellyn McMain, Kokomo, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an Alaskan cruise in July and an open house Sept. 12, 2009, at Elliott House.
Gale and the former Gwenellyn Wilson were married Sept. 12, 1959, at South Side Christian Church by the Rev. Harold Cline.
She is retired from Mohr Construction Company. He is retired from AT&T; and as co-owner of Indiana Business Communications.
Their children are Timothy and wife Brenda, Greentown, and Mark and wife Kellie, Kokomo. They have four grandchildren.
