Joe and Lenora Washington

Joe W. and Lenora J. Washington celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Dec. 22, 2011. The couple’s daughters are planning a private family dinner.

Joe and the former Lenora Hogan were married Dec. 22, 1956, at the home of the late Rev. J.W. Carr.

He retired from Continental Steel, and she retired from Delco Electronics.

They have six daughters, Terri L. Washington, Charlene Artis, Darlene Wake, Jodi Crawford, Lori Washington and Loni Washington. They have six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
