Vernal and Lois Baugh
Vernal E. and Lois Gale Baugh celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner on July 24.
Vernal and the former Lois Gale Miller were married July 28, 1950, in Drexel Gardens, Indianapolis, by a preacher from Plainfield.
They are both retired.
Their children are Mark Timothy Baugh, Tipton; Terri Lee Phillips, Kokomo; and Ted Joe Baugh, Kokomo. They have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Hawley will celebrate their 50th anniversary with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. June 3, 2012, at the Western Howard County Conservation Club. Cake and refreshments will be served at the open house. The couple requests that gifts be omitted but cards and memories are welcome.

Life long friends Kim and Kevin Abney, who introduced the couple, surprised Paul and Jan on March 23, 2012, with friends and family for the celebration of their 30-year marriage. Fond memories and laughter filled the room as many friends reunited.

Dennis and Jody Bentzler celebrated their 40th anniversary with a renewal of vows ceremony and reception at Crossroads Community Church on March 31, 2012, a trip to Las Vegas in April and a trip to Myrtle Beach in August.
