James L. “Jim” and Sandy Cohee, Galveston, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house for family and friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 2 at Center United Methodist Church. Please omit gifts.

James and the former Sandy King were married Nov. 25, 1962, in Center United Methodist Church by the Rev. George G. Holston.

Sandy is a homemaker, and James worked for Continental Steel until it closed. He hauls livestock.

Their children are James and wife Kristie Cohee, McCordsville, Bob and wife Karla Cohee, Young America, and Janet and husband Jim Myers, Logansport. They have nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
