Jerry and Doris Pyle

Jerry D. and Doris Pyle, Kokomo, are celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary.

Jerry and the former Doris Richey were married Aug. 31, 1957, in the Church of the Brethren by the Rev. Russell Showalter. They met on a double date.

Doris is a retired nurse, and Jerry retired from Haynes International and works at H.P. Alloys, Windfall. They are members of First Church of the Nazarene.

Their children are Jerry Dean Pyle II, Kokomo, Gregory Scott and wife Missy Pyle, Kokomo, and Elizabeth “Betsy” and husband Tim Haberfield, Indianapolis. They have three grandsons and three great-grandchildren.
