Lonnie and Carolyn Watson

Lonnie and Carolyn Watson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner Aug. 19 at Holly Hock Inn, Indianapolis.

Lonnie and the former Carolyn Aldridge were married Aug. 19, 1962, in First Baptist Church, Elwood.

Carolyn is a homemaker. Lonnie is retired from Delco Electronics.

Their children are Shelly and husband Dave Ray, Sharpsville, Mindy Watson, Noblesville, and Mike and wife Cyndy Watson, Kempton. They have eight grandchildren, Kevin and Jake Ray, Britney (Nick), Olyvia, and Dekan Klein, Brandon, Zack, and Tabitha Stohler, and a great-granddaughter, Bryn Doty.
