Merrill and the former Marjorie Howard were married on April 2, 1952, in Kokomo.
He is the owner of Horoho Printing Co., Inc.
Their children are Diane and husband Steve Turko, Charleston, S.C.; Linda and husband Daryl Beachy, Kokomo; and Greg and wife Jessica Horoho, Kokomo. They have seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
