— Mike and Sherrie Parker are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary by playing 18 holes of golf at Chippendale Golf Course.
Mike and the former Sherrie Schory were married July 26, 1980, at First Congregational Church, Kokomo, by the Rev. Steve Cole.
She is employed at Posh Salon and Day Spa, and he works at Delphi Electronics and Safety.
The couple has three children, Brandi Parker, Dallas, Texas; Brittany and husband Dr. Sean Schafer, Greenwood; and Bryce Parker, Cincinnati, Ohio. They have one grandchild, Sean Michael Schafer II, 18 months old.
