Jennifer Ann Berlet, Walton, and Cody Matthew Scott, Logansport, were married at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012, at First Baptist Church in Galveston by the Rev. Ben Pippen. A wedding reception followed at Celebrations in Kokomo.
She is the daughter of Jeff and Julie Berlet, Walton. She is a 2008 graduate of Lewis Cass Junior-Senior High School and will graduate in December from Hillsdale College with a bachelor’s degree. She is majoring in elementary education and minoring in early childhood education, physical education and integrated science. She is completing her degree by student teaching this fall at Thompson Elementary School in Walton.
He is the son of Kevin and Cindy Scott, Logansport. He is a 2007 graduate of Caston Junior-Senior High School. He farms with his father on their family farm.
Kristi Berlet, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Lynnelee Roberts, Kourtney Anker, Mallory McClurg, cousin of the bride, Stephanie Mollenkopf, sister of the groom, and Allison Hetrick. Kinzie Mollenkopf, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. James Fred, cousin of the groom was the best man. The groomsmen were Duane Scott and Wes Scott, brothers of the groom, Silas Zartman, cousin of the groom, Eli Fred, cousin of the groom, and Brad Berlet, brother of the bride. Michael Myers, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Sandal’s Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and reside in Twelve Mile.
