Richard and Norma Hiteshew

Richard and Norma (Hartmann) Hiteshew, Kokomo, celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary Dec. 9.

Richard retired as a senior chief petty officer, after serving 38 years in the U.S. Navy aboard ships and foreign shore stations. Norma is a retired registered nurse, having been employed in Kokomo, Pleasant Hill, Calif., and the United States Embassy in Dakar, Senegal.

They are the parents of Elaine and husband Stewart Kitchin, Medway, Ohio; Douglas and wife Jeanine Hiteshew, Greenwood; and Rebecca and husband Frank Berndsen, Woodbridge, Va. Sons Mark Richard and Kevin Lee are deceased. They have six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
