David (Bo) and Linda (Dinny) Bailey celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with an open house at Trinity United Methodist Church on Aug. 8, 2010.
David and the former Linda England were married Aug. 2, 1970, in Charleston, Ill, by the Rev. Hayes. The couple met as elementary teachers.
She is a private piano and voice teacher and a church pianist. He is a retired letter carrier.
Their children are Heather and Troy Bultman, Hemlock; Nickolas and Tabitha Bailey, Greentown; and Davinda and Troy Bailey, Decatur, Ill. They have six grandchildren, Teddy and Tessa Blakey, Caitlyn Cottingham, Novalee Bultman, and Niko and Hannah Bailey; and one great-grandchild, Adrian Blakey.
