Virgil and Frances Jones, Greentown, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner. A trip is planned for next spring.
Virgil and the former Frances Walker were married Dec. 20, 1952, in Elwood by the Rev. A.C. Delaney.
They are both retired from Delco Electronics.
Their children are Kathy Smith, Tipton; Virgil “Bud” Jones Jr., Greentown; Mark Jones, Greentown; Terri Summers, Greentown; Linda Fink, deceased; and Brett Jones, deceased. They have seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
