SOLAR SAVINGS: Michael Anderson, co-owner of Sunspot Natural Foods, washes the solar panels on the roof of the southside business. They have 27 panels that help provide lighting for the business. Anderson estimates they have lowered the business’ electric bills by $200 a month. The city of Kokomo hopes to employ similar measures but on a much larger scale.
