Howard County arrests

Saturday, 11:25 p.m., police arrested David S. Thompson, 49, 1800 block of North Purdum Street, at the intersection of Homelawn and Washington streets, on charges of operating while intoxicated and public intoxication.

Sunday, 8:03 a.m., deputies arrested Michelle D. Slone, 33, South Bend, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for a misdemeanor charge of purchase of more than 3 grams of precursor in a week.

Sunday, 8:38 a.m., deputies arrested Jennifer L. Mau, 26, 150 block of South Cooper Street, in the 6000 block of Council Ring Boulevard, on a warrant for a Class D felony charge of aiding, inducing and/or causing invasion of privacy.

Sunday, 1:41 p.m., police arrested Michael T. Merritt, 37, 1200 block of South Delphos Street, in the 2200 block of South Washington Street, on a misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Sunday, 2:58 p.m., police arrested Marcus T. Bowens, 22, 900 block of East Havens Street, at Ohio Street and Vaile Avenue, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Sunday, 5:44 p.m., police arrested Mykel A. Morilla, 29, 800 block of West Broadway, at North and Ann streets, on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended with priors.

Sunday, 7:15 p.m., deputies arrested Fred J. Fairchild, 36, Bunker Hill, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Thefts

Friday, 5:06 p.m., the theft of a silver solitaire ring was reported in the 4200 block of East 200 South.

Sunday, 6:48 a.m., the theft of cash and a cash register was reported at Terrace Plaza Barbershop, 3700 block of South LaFountain Street.

Sunday, 8:25 a.m., the theft of $200 cash was reported from the 2000 block of South Elizabeth Street.

Sunday, 10:08 a.m., the theft of two car stereos and a kerosene heater was reported from a garage in the 900 block of West State Street.

Sunday, 10:30 a.m., the theft of cash and a cash register was reported from All-Star Barbers, 2400 block of South Reed Road.

Sunday, 2:39 p.m., the theft of medication was reported in the 1500 block of South Plate Street.

Sunday, 4:50 p.m., a burglary was reported at State Street Warehouses, 1200 block of Home Avenue.

Tipton County arrests

Saturday, 2:54 a.m., police arrested Broc David Tragesser, 24, 300 block of Columbia Avenue, Tipton, on a charge of trespass.

Saturday, 1:15 p.m., police arrested Christopher Legg, 37, 600 block of Hill Street, Tipton, on charges of public intoxication and invasion of privacy.

Saturday, 11:21 p.m., deputies arrested Samantha Jo Adams, 24, 3900 block of Central Avenue, Fort Myers, Fla., on charges of possession of marijuana and obstruction of justice.

Miami County arrests

Thursday, 6 p.m., deputies arrested Mariano Orta III, 25, South Bend, on a warrant to serve 48 hours in jail.

Thursday, 7:35 p.m., police arrested Timothy Enyeart, 30, 200 block of North Dukes Street, Peru, on a warrant.

Thursday, 10:45 p.m., deputies arrested Milton D. Shultz, 47, 1400 north block of 325 East, Peru, on a warrant charge of violation of probation.

Friday, 1:41 a.m., police arrested Carl D. Cook, 57, 100 block of East Second Street, Peru, on a charge of public intoxication.

Friday, 4:10 a.m., police arrested Adam S. Correll, 31, 2000 block of South Sycamore Boulevard, Peru, on two charges of possession of paraphernalia and a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
