Howard County arrests

Sunday, 11:20 p.m., deputies arrested Ross A. Benedict, 19, 5300 block of Arrowhead Boulevard, in the 1800 block of West Markland Avenue, for failure to appear on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Sunday, 12:44 a.m., police arrested Richard Brown, 37, 900 block of East Broadway Street, in the 700 block of East Havens Street, on a body attachment.

Sunday, 2:37 a.m., deputies arrested Christina M. Wiley, 21, East Tumbleweed Drive, in the 1800 block of West Markland Avenue, on a failure to appear warrant for fees.

Monday, 10:20 a.m., deputies arrested Donte McKibben, 21, 500 block of Elk Drive, at Westville Correctional Facility, on a warrant for three counts of failure to appear.

Monday, 10:30 a.m., deputies arrested Jay C. Eli, 27, Frankfort, at the Clinton County jail, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Monday, 10:35 a.m., deputies arrested Triston Washington, 18, 800 block of Harvest Drive, on a warrant for never obtaining a driver’s license.

Monday, 11:58 a.m., police arrested two 16-year-old females at Kokomo High School each on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Monday, 3:34 p.m., police arrested Andrew H. Salyers, 22, at Sycamore and Ohio streets, on a body attachment warrant.

Monday, 5:19 p.m., police arrested James VanWinkle, 44, 1100 block of South Wabash Avenue, at Brandon and Harrison streets, on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Monday, 5:48 p.m., police arrested Ricky H. Duncan, 29, 700 block of North McCann Street, at Phillips and Tate streets, on a Floyd County warrant for failure to appear.

Monday, 6:06 p.m., police arrested a 16-year-old female at Sears, 1235 S. Reed Road, on a charge of conversion.

Monday, 7:10 p.m., deputies arrested James B. Linzey, 40, 5300 north block of 50 East, at that residence, on a charge of battery resulting in bodily injury and battery.

Monday, 8:53 p.m., police arrested a 16-year-old male at Sycamore Street and Walker Avenue on a charge of incorrigibility.

Monday, 9:20 p.m., police arrested Jon J. Casbon, 29, Amboy, in the 700 block of South Plate Street, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Monday, 9:40 p.m., police arrested Harmony D. Millard, 26, 1200 block of East Murden Street, at 2401 E. Markland Ave., on a body attachment warrant.

Tuesday, 12:31 a.m., deputies arrested Brandon Archer, 28, 3900 block of Alameda Boulevard, at that residence, on a charge of driving while suspended.

Tuesday, 1:30 a.m., police arrested Rebecca L. Hall, 27, 900 block of South Clark Street, at Apperson Way and havens Street, on a charge of driving while suspended.

Thefts

Thursday, 2:04 p.m., the theft of an HP laptop valued at $1,000 was reported from the 400 block of East Lincoln Road.

Friday, 10:13 a.m., thefts of a 64-inch flat screen TV, a computer monitor, scanner and printer and a microwave oven were reported from the 1400 block of North Waugh Street.

Sunday, 10:34 a.m., the theft of a Yamaha mo-ped valued at $1,300 and a Craftsman tool box was reported from the 1000 block of West Elm Street.

Sunday, 5:50 p.m., the theft of a power washer valued at $169 was reported from the 600 block of West Monroe Street.

Monday, 8:16 a.m., the theft of four tires and four wheels valued at $1,000 was reported from McGonigal’s, 1220 E. Blvd.

Monday, 6:30 p.m., the theft of a blue and black duffle bag with clothes and a purse and contents valued at $180 was reported from a vehicle at Motel 6.

Tipton County arrests

Saturday, 11:49 p.m., deputies arrested Jason Geyer, 23, 600 block of 750 West, Kokomo, on a charge of operating while intoxicated.

Sunday, 2:42 a.m., deputies arrested Eddie Lynch, 32, 400 block of West Street, Tipton, on a charge of public intoxication.

Sunday, deputies arrested Jason Anderson, 26, 600 block of Main Street, Tipton, on a charge of operating while intoxicated.

Sunday, police arrested Nicholas Wood, 18, 5800 block of 775 West, Tipton, on charges of operating while intoxicated, OWI endangering another person, OWI with a minor in the car, and minor consumption.

Miami County arrests

Wednesday, 11:57 p.m., deputies arrested Christopher R. Johnson, 28, 600 block of West Second Street, Peru, on a warrant.

Thursday, 10:20 a.m., deputies arrested Teka Winterrowd, 24, 400 block of East Third Street, Peru, on two warrants to serve 45 days in jail.

Friday, 12:25 a.m., state police arrested Henry L. Shell, 43, 9200 block of South Bond Cemetery Road, Amboy, on a warrant charge of purchasing more than 3 grams of precursors in one week.

Friday, 6:30 p.m., police arrested Aaron M. Haughby, 19, 400 block of Monroe Avenue, Peru, on a department of defense warrant charge of desertion.

Friday, 10:55 a.m., deputies arrested Josh M. Enright, 26, Fort Wayne, on a warrant charge of auto theft.

Friday, 6 p.m., deputies arrested Joshua T. Hopper, 27, 9600 South block of 150 West, Bunker Hill, on a warrant to serve 48 hours in jail.

Friday, 7:59 p.m., deputies arrested Dan W. Myers, 38, 200 block of East Sixth Street, Peru, on a charge of being a habitual traffic violator for life.

Saturday, 3:07 p.m., state police arrested Kevin A. Conrad, 18, 2300 block of South Dwight Avenue, Peru, on a charge of minor consumption of alcohol.

Saturday, 3:25 a.m., state police arrested Paul E. Wyatt, 34, 50 block of Jefferson Avenue, Peru, on a Madison County warrant charge of criminal recklessness with a vehicle.

Sunday, 1:30 a.m., state police arrested Frank Harris III, 20, Walkerton, on charges of minor consumption of alcohol and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Sunday, 6:25 a.m., deputies arrested Daniel R. Wagner, 34, 600 block of West Lincoln Street, Kokomo, on a Howard County warrant charges of purchasing more than 3 grams of precursors in a week and a petition to revoke probation.

Sunday, 4:15 p.m., state police arrested Kris Carson, 23, 11000 East block of 200 North, Greentown, on a warrant charge of failure to appear in court.

Sunday, 10:30 p.m., police arrested Bruce L. Espenscheid, 34, 10 block of River Road, Peru, on charges of having an illegal drug lab and maintaining a common nuisance.

Monday, 9:31 a.m., deputies arrested William T. Legg, 82, 400 block of East Second Street, Peru, on a warrant to serve 45 days in jail.

Monday, 8:05 p.m., deputies arrested Keith L. Campbell, no address given, on a Department of Correction hold.

Monday, 8:05 p.m., deputies arrested Dorthy D. Ash, 38, no address given, on a Department of Correction hold.

Monday, 8:05 p.m., deputies arrested Zelma Quillen, 67, no address given, on a Department of Correction hold.

Monday, 10:45 p.m., deputies arrested John A. Carroll, 45, 200 block of East Sixth Street, Peru, on a charge of public intoxication.

Monday, 11:30 p.m., deputies arrested Joseph D. Pierce, 30, 200 block of East Sixth Street, Peru, on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and invasion of privacy.
