Police reports - Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009

Howard County arrests

Friday, 11:15 a.m., deputies arrested Juan Rodriguez Jr., Marion, at the Grant County Jail, on a body attachment warrant.

Friday, 2 p.m., deputies arrested Travis E. Griggs, 23, 5200 block of Council Ring Boulevard, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for a Class D felony auto theft charge.

Friday, 4:15 p.m., state police arrested Jonathan P. Rife, 24, 4137 S. 800 East, Greentown, at Ind. 19 and 50 South, on two misdemeanor charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, and on a misdemeanor reckless driving charge.

Friday, 4:46 p.m., deputies arrested Katie L. Current, 33, 1500 block of West Havens Street, at the Howard County jail, on a misdemeanor aiding, inducing and/or causing an offense charge.

Saturday, 12:01 a.m., deputies arrested Jonathan M. Lovell, 20, 1000 block of East Richmond Street, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Saturday, 4:04 p.m., deputies arrested Destrey J. Moss, 42, Tipton, at the Howard County jail, on a petition to revoke suspended sentence, and on a warrant for failure to appear.

Sunday, 2:24 a.m., deputies arrested Trent E. Gust, 44, 2800 block of East Center Road, at home, on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge, and on a Class D felony possession of a controlled substance charge.

Sunday, 2:24 p.m., deputies arrested Marla S. Lambert, 42, 2800 block of East Center Road, at home, on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge.

Sunday, 3:07 p.m., police arrested Thomas A. McGrew, 30, 2300 block of East Broadway, in the 1700 block of South Judson Road, on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended with priors.

Sunday, 5:35 p.m., deputies arrested Rick L. Wise II, 35, 1200 block of South Cooper Street, in the 600 block of South 750 West, on a petition to revoke suspended sentence.

Sunday, 6:03 p.m., police arrested Austin L. Reed, 19, 1000 block of West Walnut Street, at Plate and Hoffer streets, on a White County warrant for failure to appear.

Sunday, 6:53 p.m., police arrested Wayne Maddox, 49, 400 block of West Mulberry Street, in the 400 block of West Mulberry Street, on a petition to revoke suspended sentence.

Sunday, 9:31 p.m., police arrested John G. Bogue, 40, 300 block of East North Street, on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended with priors.

Sunday, 10:28 p.m., police arrested Brittany A. Holofchak, 19, 1000 block of South Indiana Avenue, at home, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Monday, 3:46 a.m., police arrested Jacob L. Sommers, 19, 400 block of South Western Avenue, at Sycamore Street and Berkley Road, on a misdemeanor illegal consumption charge.

Thefts

Sunday, 12:51 a.m., the theft of a 60-inch television, a computer printer, cameras, cash and a home-surround sound system was reported in the 400 block of East Monroe Street.

Sunday, 9:43 a.m., the theft of a Hewlett-Packard laptop computer, valued at $1,000, was reported stolen from the 2400 block of South Park Road.

Sunday, 12:41 p.m., the theft of three marble-countertop tables was reported in the 1100 block of West Park Avenue.
