Get back to supporting Obama

I would like to remind everybody of a man that we all supported, just one year ago. That man is now the president of our nation, but is now the target of a lot of animosity.

Not everyone supported President Obama, but 80 percent of us did. The President has done everything that he said he was going to do, so far. He never promised that things were going to change over night. In fact, he said that it could take years to see solid results. We have to remember the country that this man was handed. It was hanging on by a thread, due to the negligent actions of our former administration. Everyone seems to be forgetting the cold, callous, attitude of our former president. He did not care what was happening to the people of this nation, and he didn’t mind saying that. He only cared about his wallet, a fact that was painfully obvious.

Let me remind you folks of the Republican Party, and who they are. They are the anti-“blue collar” party. They are in favor of shipping our jobs overseas. After all, most of them have stock in these companies that are taking our jobs elsewhere. They are big time supporters of cheap labor. They are the folks who brought us tougher stipulations on welfare benefits for the needy. Education was not a strong suit either. After all, that’s where they started to cut funding, to make room for some “war” money. Oh, yeah, they were responsible for that too. Bush started a war all on his own. Without the approval of our government. There was no good reason to invade Iraq, and we all know it. I believe that the goal of the GOP, is to do away with the middle class. They want us all to be poor, so that we will have to enlist in the service, to provide for our families. That way they could start a war in every nation on the globe, and have plenty of soldiers. Sounds crazy? Just look at their track record.

Our nation needs to be fixed. And I mean right now. We have to stop the bleeding. Our president is trying to do just that. But he faces opposition from a Republican party, that is just bitter from a devastating loss in last year’s election. If you want to blame someone for the delay in our recovery, look no further than your GOP lawmakers. They are acting like a bunch of little kids. I mean; do you really believe that President Obama is trying to pass health-care reform so that we can start genocide on the elderly? That’s ridiculous. He does not want to take over your life and tell you what to do. President Obama simply is just doing what he said he was going to do while he was on the campaign trail. It was OK then. Why not now? Folks like Peter Heck, and Rush Limbaugh want you to believe some crack-pot ideas. They think the American people are a bunch of stupid cattle that will believe anything they have to say. So they will say anything to make you believe that President Obama is out to get you. If you believe those bafoons, then maybe you should start grazing out back.

President Obama’s agenda is simple. Fix the mess that the GOP got us in to. Nothing more, nothing less. It would be nice if they would assist in fixing the mess they made. But so far they have disagreed on everything, just to slow the help that this country needs. Way to drum up support for the 2010 election. Slow the help to the very constituents that voted you in. Hopefully they will open their eyes this time around.
