Howard County arrests

Friday, 7:45 a.m., deputies arrested Andrew H. Salyers, 21, 1900 block of South LaFountain Street, at home, on a body attachment warrant, and on Class D felony charges of possession of marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.

Friday, 8:52 a.m., deputies arrested Candice M. Armstrong, 24, 400 block of North Washington Street, at home, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Friday, 9 a.m., deputies arrested Rachel A. Duncan, 38, 400 block of North Washington Street, at the Howard County jail, on a body attachment warrant.

Friday, 9:35 a.m., deputies arrested Becky A. Todd, 46, 800 block of Twyckingham Lane, at home, on a warrant for contempt of court.

Friday, 9:47 a.m., deputies arrested Rick L. Williams, 57, 1900 block of South Goyer Road, at home, on a petition to revoke suspended sentence.

Friday, 12:05 p.m., deputies arrested Kevin D. Schafer, 21, 4500 block of East 200 South, at the Howard County Courthouse, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Friday, 12:40 p.m., deputies arrested Ricky J. Henson, 56, 1900 block of West Havens Street, at the Westville Correctional Facility, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Friday, 1:09 p.m., deputies arrested Latasha Thompson, 23, 900 block of North Morrison Street, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for a misdemeanor charge of purchase of more than 3 grams of precursor in a week.

Friday, 1:40 p.m., deputies arrested Layne A. Koontz, 21, 1000 block of South Bell Street, at the Howard County jail, on a misdemeanor battery charge.

Friday, 1:47 p.m., deputies arrested John Kujawa, 48, 300 block of East Mulberry Street, at the Howard County jail, on nine warrants for failure to appear.

Saturday, 4:30 a.m., state police arrested Nelson D. Johnson Jr., 42, 800 block of East Hoffer Street, at the Howard County jail, on a misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Saturday, 12:15 p.m., deputies arrested Demarcus I. Ingle, 25, Louisville, Ky., at the Louisville Metro Correctional facility, on a warrant for Class C felony fraud and forgery charges.

Saturday, 6:38 p.m., deputies arrested Charles T. Southwick, 18, 4500 block of East 200 South, in the 500 block of West Payton Street, Greentown, on Class D felony charges of residential entry and battery.

Saturday, 8:55 p.m., deputies arrested Korey M. Warner, 19, 200 block of Branded Court, at 400 East and 50 North, on a warrant for a Class D felony residential entry charge.

Sunday, 3:17 a.m., deputies arrested Leslie A. Hall, 41, Peru, in the 100 block of South Reed Road, on misdemeanor charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and public intoxication.

Sunday, 2:20 p.m., state police arrested Tommy J. Burton, 38, 1200 block of South Plate Street, at home, on a warrant for a misdemeanor charge of purchase of more than 3 grams of precursor in a week.

Sunday, 2:55 p.m., police arrested Michael P. Monroe, 31,1200 block of West Havens Street, and Christy Miller, 31, 1900 block of Apperson Way North, both in the 2200 block of West Sycamore Street, each on a single Class D felony count of possession of a syringe.

Sunday, 7:06 p.m., police arrested a 10-year-old male, in the 1300 block of North Purdum Street, for incorrigibility.

Sunday, 9:47 p.m., police arrested Sarah E. Campbell, 25, 500 block of East Mulberry Street, at home, on a petition to revoke suspended sentence.

Sunday, 10:12 p.m., police arrested James F. Riley, 35, 600 block of South McCann Street, in the 100 block of North Washington Street, on a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge.

Sunday, 11:33 p.m., deputies arrested Donna M. England, 34, 1900 block of East Carter Street, at home, on a misdemeanor charge of battery resulting in bodily injury.

Monday, 12:29 a.m., police arrested a 16-year-old female, in the 1900 block of West Sycamore Street, on a Class B felony charge of dealing a controlled substance.

Monday, 1:47 a.m., police arrested Krista L. VanWinkle, 19, 2500 block of West Jefferson Street, at City Hall, for illegal consumption of alcohol.

Thefts

Friday, 9:35 a.m., the theft of an ATV was reported in the 12100 block of West 100 North.

Friday, 9:53 a.m., the theft of a condenser unit was reported in the 6700 block of West 400 South.

Friday, 12:46 p.m., numerous items were reported stolen from a residence in the 600 block of North 950 East.

Sunday, 2:38 a.m., the theft of a 19” flat-screen TV was reported in the 1100 block of South Home Avenue.

Sunday, 12:54 p.m., numerous items were reported stolen from a residence in the 9600 block of West 180 South.

Sunday, 8:34 p.m., the theft of copper tubing was reported in the 1000 block of East Havens Street.

Sunday, 8:39 p.m., the theft of a 2004 Suzuki GSXR1000 motorcycle, blue and white colored, was reported stolen from the 1600 block of Winterbrook Drive.

Miami County arrests

Friday, 10:10 p.m., police arrested Krystal L. Sweares, 21, 20 block of West Second Street, Peru, on a Huntington County warrant charge of failure to appear in court.

Saturday, 2 p.m., police arrested Krista Krisher, 29, 2200 block of South Wallick Road, Peru, on a Howard County warrant.

Saturday, 8:45 p.m., police arrested David A. Ritchie, 22, 500 block of West Third Street, Peru, on a charge of driving while suspended, with prior offenses.

Sunday, 12:05 a.m., deputies arrested Robert R. Maldonado, 28, 100 block of East Franklin Street, Peru, on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Sunday, 6:08 p.m., state police arrested Amber M. Kelly, 30, Union City, on a Blackford County warrant charge of failure to appear in court on a charge of theft.

Monday, 9:40 a.m., deputies arrested Christopher A. Crumbley, 21, 5000 block of Division Road, Kokomo, on a charge of probation violation.

Thefts

Friday, 2:59 p.m., a burglary was reported in the 200 block of West Seventh Street, Peru.

Friday, 5:29 p.m., a burglary was reported in the 100 block of West Seventh Street, Peru.

Friday, 9:34 p.m., a burglary was reported in the 1700 block of South Lincoln Street, Peru.

Saturday, 7:45 a.m., a burglary was reported in the 100 block of South Park Avenue, Peru.

Sunday, 9:18 p.m., a theft was reported in the 200 block of East Main Street, Peru.

Sunday, 11:49 p.m., a theft was reported in the 1800 West block of County Road 300 South, Peru.

Monday, 12:16 a.m., a theft was reported in the 100 block of East First Street, Peru.

Monday, 5:20 a.m., a burglary was reported in the 600 block of Rushburn Green, Peru.

Monday, 7:17 a.m., a theft was reported in the 500 block of West Third Street.
