Police reports - Sunday, July 5, 2009

Howard County arrests

Friday, 5:12 p.m., police arrested Jarad Wimmer, 25, 700 block of North Courtland Avenue, in the 800 block of East Gerhart Street, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Friday, 7:41 p.m., police arrested Joshua R. Jones, 22, 800 block of Apperson Way South, at Jefferson and Webster streets, on a warrant for charges of possession of a controlled substance, criminal recklessness and carrying a handgun without a permit.

Friday, 8:18 p.m., police arrested Shawn Chapel, 28, 1000 block of East Broadway Street, at that residence, on a Miami County warrant for probation violation.

Saturday, 1:41 a.m., police arrested Darmecia S. Jordan, 25, 100 block of East Richmond Street, in the 1500 block of East Jefferson Street, on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, two counts of child neglect, resisting law enforcement and implied consent.

Saturday, 1:43 a.m., police arrested John Rogers, 25, 500 block of West Jefferson Street, at the Cozy Lounge, 222 N. Buckeye St., on a charge of public intoxication.

Saturday, 3:54 a.m., police arrested Brandon L. Irvin, 39, 3300 block of Weathered Rock Circle, at 107 E. Markland Ave., on warrant for four counts of failure to appear.

Saturday, 10:22 a.m., police arrested Diane Shepard, 53, 800 block of South Washington Street, at Markland Avenue and Market Street, on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and implied consent.
