Howard County

Arrests


Tuesday, 6:31 p.m., police arrested a 16-year-old male in the 1300 block of South Buckeye Street, on a charge of battery.

Wednesday, 8 a.m., deputies arrested Tyler Lange, 26, Windfall, in Tipton County jail, on a warrant for forgery and possession of stolen property.

Wednesday, 10:35 a.m., deputies arrested Adam Canady, 19, 200 north block of 480 West, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for petition to revoke a suspended sentence.

Wednesday, 10:45 a.m., deputies arrested Richard Brown, 38, 700 block of East Havens Street, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for petition to revoke a suspended sentence.

Wednesday, 10:53 a.m., police arrested a 14-year-old male in the 200 block of Harvest Drive on a runaway charge.

Wednesday, 11 a.m., deputies arrested Ashley Dawn, 42, 400 block of North Indiana Street, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for petition to revoke a suspended sentence.

Wednesday, 1:20 p.m., deputies arrested Kristina R. Santos, 31, Indianapolis, at the Delaware County jail, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Wednesday, 1:31 p.m., police arrested two 15-year-old males at Kokomo High School, 2501 S. Berkley Road on charges of truancy and theft.

Wednesday, 2:45 p.m., deputies arrested Lawrence Leveridge, 40, Jacksonville, Fla., at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Wednesday, 3:45 p.m., deputies arrested Alex C. Shipp, 26, 1000 block of South McCann Street, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for invasion of privacy.

Wednesday, 3:55 p.m., police arrested Bailey M. Wisher, 19, 2500 block of Apperson Way North, at that residence, on a warrant for failure to stop after an accident.

Wednesday, 4:51 p.m., police arrested Mary E. Majors, 28, 700 block of West State Street, at that residence, on a warrant for failure to appear for fees hearing.

Wednesday, 11:50 p.m., police arrested Tionte A. Strayhorn, 23, 1300 block of North Bell Street, in the 2000 block of Cedar Crest Drive, on charges of resisting law enforcement, public intoxication and possession of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a park.

Thursday, 3 a.m., police arrested a 17-year-old female in the 1500 block of South Cooper Street, on a charge of runaway.

Thefts

Tuesday, 3:41 p.m., the theft of a DVD player, a .22-caliber Derringer 5-shot pistol and a radio was reported from the 1600 block of Columbus Boulevard.

Tuesday, 5:05 p.m., the theft of a Gateway laptop computer, a cloth bag of change and silver dollars was reported from the 1600 block of Oakhill Drive.

Tuesday, 8:02 p.m., the theft of a blue 1995 Chevrolet Astro Van valued at $2,100 was reported from the 600 block of East Mulberry Street.

Wednesday, 2 p.m., the theft of three reels of 12-gauge insulated copper wire was reported from the 1200 block of South Ohio Street.

Wednesday, 7:05 p.m., the theft of $500 in cash was reported from Pine Valley Apartments, 100 E. Center Road.

Tipton County

Arrests


Tuesday, 2 p.m., deputies arrested Daniel R. Jones, 37, 100 block of South Mary Street, Carthage, on a warrant for two counts of non-support of a dependent.

Wednesday, 5:55 p.m., deputies arrested Derrick L. Finch, 24, 1800 block of South F Street, Elwood, on a warrant for theft.
