Deputies seek missing woman

Howard County law enforcement sent out a plea for public help in finding Ester L. Westenbarger, 51, who was last seen 1:30 a.m. Wednesday leaving Miller’s Tavern, 125 W. Elm St.

She is described as being 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 135 pounds, with shoulder-length, red hair and brown eyes. Howard County sheriff deputies said Westenbarger has a tattoo of a 1st Calvary insignia on her upper left arm, and a tattoo of a parachute with wings on her left ankle.

She was last seen on foot, wearing a cream-colored, three-quarter length V-neck shirt, blue jeans, flip-flops, and a dark colored jacket.

Also missing is Westenbarger’s 2005 Cadillac CTS, bearing the Ohio personalized registration plate MSESTER. Westenbarger may have been walking from Miller’s to the Hoosier Bar, where her car was last seen. The Kokomo Police Department is also assisting with the investigation.
