Howard County arrests

Sunday, 8:28 p.m., police arrested Cary D. Cheesman, 47, Danville, Ill., at Washington Street and Markland Avenue, on a misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Monday, 2:27 a.m., deputies arrested William D. Whitman Jr., 300 block of West Chandler Street, Russiaville, at home, on a misdemeanor charge of interfering with the reporting of a crime, and on a Class D felony domestic battery charge.

Monday, 2:50 a.m., deputies arrested Dawn A. Jewell, 30, 2700 block of North Washington Street, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for a misdemeanor domestic battery charge, and on a body attachment warrant.

Monday, 8:42 a.m., police arrested Ricardo G. Fred Jr., 36, 400 block of West Markland Avenue, at that residence, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Monday, 9:02 a.m., police arrested a 16-year-old female at Kokomo High School, 2501 S. Berkley Road, on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement. Police also arrested another 16-year-old female on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Monday, 12:33 p.m. deputies Andre Haymon, 21, 2200 block of North Armstrong Street, at the Lake County jail, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Monday, 1:36 p.m., deputies arrested Franklin Wilcox, 26, 2300 block of West Jefferson Street, at that residence, on a warrant for petition to revoke a suspended sentence.

Monday, 5:22 p.m., police arrested Marien Elizondo, 26, 1600 block of North Morrison Street, at the Kokomo Police Department, on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement.

Monday, 9:09 p.m., police arrested Joseph J. Surack III, 18, 1800 block of Austin Road, at Vaile Avenue and Crystal Street, on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Nov. 10, 10:05 a.m., deputies arrested Johnny W. Harrington, 18, 400 block of Cherokee Court, Peru, on a charge of minor consumption of alcohol.

Nov. 10, 11 a.m., deputies arrested Dennis J. Wright, 57, 5100 north block of 200 East, Kokomo, on a charge of probation violation.

Nov. 10, 11:05 a.m., deputies arrested Adam G. VanCamp, 28, 1100 West Elm Street, Kokomo, on a warrant charge of failure to appear in court on charges of theft and illegal consumption.

Nov. 10, 10:44 p.m., state police arrested Harold W. Cleland, 27, 200 block of East Canal Street, on warrant charges of possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, voyeurism, possession of a drug lab and maintaining a common nuisance.

Wednesday, 12:03 a.m., deputies arrested Ryan DelVecchio, 31, 300 block of South Main Street, Macy, on a Steuben County warrant.

Wednesday, 11:42 p.m., police arrested George W. Brewer, 37, 2100 block of North Country Club Road, Peru, on a charge of public intoxication.

Thursday, 8:40 p.m., deputies arrested Patrick I. Butler, 23, 200 block of West 10th Street, Peru, on charges of maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana more than 30 grams with intent to deal and possession of marijuana more than 30 grams.

Thursday, 10:20 p.m., deputies arrested Christopher A. Clement, 22, 12900 south block of U.S. 31, Kokomo, on a Howard County warrant charge of failure to appear in court.

Friday, 2:45 a.m., deputies arrested Michael L. Franks, 20, Las Vegas, on a charge of possession of marijuana less than 30 grams.

Friday, 7:02 p.m., state police arrested Anthony J. Jewell, 47, 1300 block of South Locke Street, Kokomo, on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Saturday, 2:47 a.m., deputies arrested Jonathan A. Williams, 25, 1400 block of North McCann Street, Kokomo, on a felony charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated (refusal) and leaving the scene of a property-damage accident.

Saturday, 3:10 a.m., deputies arrested Zeppelin D. King, 22, 2700 block of North Washington Street, Kokomo, on a charge of public intoxication.

Saturday, 3:30 a.m., police arrested Sharon G. Brown, 38, 600 block of West Main Street, Peru, on a felony charge of aiding, inducing and causing a crime.

Saturday, 3:35 a.m., police arrested Devon B. Bowen, 43, 600 block of West Main Street, Peru, on a felony charge of invasion of privacy.

Saturday, 9 p.m., deputies arrested David A. Ritchie, 22, 1100 south block of 400 West, Peru, on a warrant charge of driving while suspended.

Sunday, 1:08 a.m., police arrested William H. Frye, 27, 10 block of East Spring Street, Peru, on a Cass County bench warrant.

Sunday, 11:13 p.m., deputies arrested Justin D. Newman, 19, Independence, Mo., on a warrant charge of probation violation.

Monday, 7 a.m., deputies arrested Eric Wooten, 19, 2500 block of Wickersham Drive, Kokomo, on charges of possession of marijuana and burglary.
