— Katie Lawson and Adam Pickering have plans to wed at 4 p.m. July 17, 2010, at Marian Hall Chapel in Indianapolis by Father Dennis Bosse.
She is the daughter of Jill Lawson, Indianapolis, and the late Earl Lawson. She is an alumni of Roncalli High School and Marian College. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in education from Butler University. She is a third-grade teacher at Christ the King School in Indianapolis.
He is the son of Mike and Shirley Pickering, Kokomo. He is an alumni of Taylor High School and Purdue University. He currently works for Angie’s List as a senior account manager in Indianapolis.
