Kristine Dye and Matthew Nakashima

Kristine Dye and Matthew Nakashima have plans to wed at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 23, 2012, at the Oahu Country Club by Pastor Dale Sanderson.

She is the daughter of Kenny Dye and the late James Dye, Kokomo. She graduated from Kokomo High School in 2004. She earned bachelor’s degrees in speech-language and hearing sciences in 2008 and in public health promotion in 2010 from Purdue University. She is employed at Partridge Periodontics in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He is the son of Deborah Nakashima, Kailua, Hawaii, and Wade Nakashima, Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated from Kalaheo High School in 2004. He earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University in 2008. He is currently a senior engineer at the Kellogg Company in Cincinnati, Ohio.
