Plot: Joined by his stepfather, an adventure-seeking helicopter pilot and his headstrong daughter, an intrepid young explorer follows a mysterious distress signal to a remote island that’s not on any map — and embarks on a daring rescue mission while encountering a vast array of mythological creatures in this follow-up to 2008’s “Journey to the Center of the Earth.”
