Easter fun for the adults
Who says kids get to have all the fun at Easter?
Head out to the Kirkendall Nature Center in Jackson Morrow Park, 4200 S. Park Road, at 8:30 p.m. Saturday for the annual adults-only Easter egg hunt presented by the Kokomo Parks Department.
The hunt is for participants 18 and older and will take place on the grounds inside the paved walkpath that loops around the park.
Space is limited, so you must sign up to be able to take part in the hunt. For a $5 donation, participants can pick up wrist bands at the Parks Department office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. Wrist bands will also be available from 5 to 8:15 p.m. Saturday or until they run out.

ABATE hosts Spring Bash
ABATE of Indiana is hosting its Spring Bash Saturday. The event will feature live music, food and a whole lot more. The Bash will be held at the Eagles Lodge, 1221 E. Lincoln Road. Doors open at 6 p.m. and bands start at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 at the door and you must be 18 to enter. For more info, call 765-437-8341 or 765-244-9092.
Kids’ egg hunt returns Saturday
Kids, grab your Easter baskets — and your parents — and get to Northwest Park on Saturday.
The annual youth Easter egg hunt will kick off at 1 p.m. for kids 10 and younger.
There’s no registration required, but remember to bring your own basket. Admission is free, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call 765-456-7275.
