Despite diminishing snowfall, the Kokomo area remains under a winter storm warning. The National Weather Service said the warning will stay in effect through 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Accumulations of 4 to 8 inches now are expected. Snow will return before Tuesday evening and continue through Tuesday night.
Strong winds will create blowing and drifting snow Tuesday night and Wednesday, the weather service said.
