Kokomo — Kokomo police have released additional surveillance photos of the man who shot a Village Pantry convenience store clerk during an April 2 robbery.
Officers were called about 2 a.m. to the convenience store at 1515 W. Lincoln Road, where they found David Kelly suffering from a gunshot wound.
Video surveillance shows the suspect entering the store armed with a handgun, shooting the clerk and then taking money from the cash register, according to police.
Police said the suspect fled the area on foot.
The surveillance photos show the suspect as he enters and leaves the store, Detective Mike Banush said.
The armed man is described as a white male standing between 5 feet, 6 inches and 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a medium build, wearing a black ski mask, black hooded sweatshirt, light-colored jeans and dark shoes.
Banush said the man was wearing a pair of Mechanix gloves, and was carrying a small caliber, semi-automatic handgun. Police say they have no suspects and are looking to the public for help in solving this case.
