Police: six gunshots fired near courthouse

No arrests made, no injuries reported.

Kokomo police are investigating a Sunday morning shooting in which around six shoots were fired near the courthouse. No injuries were reported.

Police reported stopping two vehicles around 3 a.m. near Buckeye and Walnut streets after it appeared the occupants had been shooting at each other.

Detectives said the occupants stated they were being shot at by people in another vehicle who fled the scene. No guns were located near the vehicles.

One of the vehicles on scene had a bullet hole in the rear passenger side.

No arrests were made, but police said they have identified suspects in the incident.
