A Russiaville EMT, Mooney was on his way home from work when came upon an automobile accident at Ind. 26 and 350 West. While stopping to render aid, he was struck by a passing automobile and severely injured with two broken legs.

The ride will begin and end at Lee’s Glass shop on the corner of Apperson Way South and Foster Street in Kokomo. The total trip will be around 60 miles.
The cost is $10 for a rider and $15 for a rider and passenger. Registration will be 9 to 10:30 a.m. and the ride will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Anyone who is unable to go on the ride but wishes to make donations can mail them to: Donations, 2627 N. Waugh St. Kokomo, IN 46901-1507. Please make all checks or money orders payable to Chuck Mooney.
