Kokomo police have released surveillance video of an armed robbery at a Check ‘N Go on East Markland Avenue early Saturday in hopes someone can recognize the armed man.
No one was injured in the incident.
Police are looking for a white male who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a ball cap, and sunglasses.
Officers were called to the business, located at 2202 E. Markland Ave., at 10:13 a.m., Lt. Donald Whitehead reported.
A female clerk told officers that a man had entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The man then ordered the clerk to place an undisclosed amount of cash into a bag that he provided and fled in an unknown direction.
Anyone having further information regarding this or any investigation is asked to contact the Kokomo Police Hotline at (765) 456-7017, or you may qualify for a cash reward by calling Central Indiana Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS with your anonymous tip.
