PERU — State police found a methamphetamine lab in a West Canal Street home late Tuesday and arrested four people.
The two-week investigation by Indiana State Trooper Josh Maller resulted in a warrant and the arrests of Jeremy Goshert, 32, Peru; Justin Goshert, 29, Wabash; Ryan Dyson, 18, Peru; and Karen Woods, 22, Peru.
The four were charged with eight felonies in connection with the illegal lab, state police reported.
State police and Peru Police Department officers executed the warrant at 280 W. Canal St. and found items associated with the manufacturing of meth and drug paraphernalia.
All four were taken into custody and incarcerated in the Miami County Jail. Jeremy Goshert’s bail was set at $50,000; Justin Goshert and Woods is $13,000; and Dyson’s was set at $8,000.
Assisting in the investigation were Miami County Prosecutor Eric Huneryager, the Peru Police Department, ISP First Sgt. Bob Land, Trooper T.J. Zeiser and Trooper Cicely Gasvoda.
