Santa Claus will flying to the Markland Mall to kickoff the holiday season and greet children.
Instead of a sleigh, the bearded Claus will arrive at noon Saturday in a Clarian Lifeline helicopter. He will land in the mall’s parking lot between Sears and Best Buy.
Families waiting to visit Santa will receive valuable coupons from Nestle Toll House Cookies. Associate sponsors Oriental Trading Company and Gymboree will also shower shoppers with valuable coupons, while ABC Family will offer 25 Days of Christmas programming guides and free, pine-scented air-freshening ornaments – all straight from Santa’s magic sack.
Whiskey Creek Woodfire Grill is also sponsoring the event.
Santa will return to the mall at 10 a.m. Nov. 27 to continue his Christmas visit.
Animal lovers can also share the magical experience of the season with photos of their pets with Santa from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13.
