For a member of the U.S. armed forces serving far away from home, there is something special about “mail call.”
Mail is a particularly important time during the holiday season, when servicemen and women are stationed far from their loved ones.
The Kokomo Tribune will be publishing the mailing addresses for local residents serving in the military. The list will also be posted online at www.kokomotribune.com.
Local residents are being encouraged to send a card of holiday cheer and thanks to a local member of the armed forces.
To have a mailing address included on the list, friends or relatives should mail the servicemember’s address to the Kokomo Tribune, 300 N. Union St., Kokomo, IN 46901, attention newsroom or sent to ktnews@kokomotribune.com.
Submissions must be received by Dec. 1.
