Two sought in home-invasion robbery

Kokomo Police are looking for two men who broke into a woman’s northside apartment, confined and robbed her before fleeing.

Detective Doug Stout said officers responded to the apartment in the 400 block of West Taylor Street about 11:45 a.m. Saturday on a report of a strong-armed robbery.

The female resident of the apartment told police that two men known to her came to her apartment demanding money. When she refused to let them inside, the men forced open the locked front door and confined the victim inside her apartment, Stout reported.

Both men then demanded prescription pills and stole some personal items belonging to the victim, who suffered minor injuries during this incident.

This case remains active for investigation. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Kokomo Police Department Hotline at 765-456-7017, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. You may qualify for a cash reward from Central Indiana Crime Stoppers.
