TIPTON — The Tipton Common Council will meet 5:30 p.m. Monday at C.W. Mount Community Center to discuss plan changes for the new City Hall.
The city announced last week the $2 million project — $4 million after interest — would likely scale back to about half the size and cost as originally planned.
A representative from Indianapolis architecture firm DLZ Indiana LLC will attend the meeting to address the project’s changes.
Tipton Municipal Utilities was going to move from the current City Hall to the new one. But city leaders said the department would begin looking into moving into another building.
The meeting moved from its usual City Hall location to accommodate a larger crowd.
