Leslie R. Burnette and John DeCeault were wed at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 5, 2009, at Deep River Park, Hobart. The ceremony was performed by Troy L. Burnette, father of the bride. A reception followed at River Point Country Club, Hobart.
The bride is the daughter of Troy and Stacy Burnette, Greentown, and Lori and Bob McKean, Kokomo. She graduated from Eastern High School in 2004. She attends the College of Dupage in Dupage, Ill., studying dental hygiene.
The groom is the son of Kenneth and Joanne DeCeault, Tinley Park, Ill. He graduated from Victor J. Andrew High School in 2002 and from Purdue University in 2006 with a degree in law enforcement and society. He is employed as a police officer for the Park Forest Police Department, Park Forest, Ill.
The couple reside in Crown Point. They plan a honeymoon in December.
