Kasey Pier and Thomas Sanders



Kasey Ann Pier, Kokomo, and Thomas Hayes Sanders, Franklin, were married at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 1, 2009, at the Apple Works, by minister Danny Williams, with a reception following at the Apple Works.

The bride is the daughter of James and Angela Pier, Kokomo. She graduated from Northwestern High School in 2005, and from Purdue University in 2009 with a degree in management. She is pursuing a law degree at Indiana University Indianapolis.

The groom is the son of Greg and Sharri Sanders, Franklin. He graduated from Indian Creek High School in Trafalgar in 2005. He is attending Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, pursuing a degree in organizational leadership and supervision.

Maid of honor was Kathryn Sicking. Bridesmaids were Kayla Pier, sister of the bride, Contessa Lawson, cousin of the bride, and Kortney Pier, sister of the bride. Flower girl was Emily West.

Best man was Robert Sanders. Groomsmen were Josh Gilland, Thomas Martin, and Jeff Gates, friends of the groom. Ring bearer was Max.

After a wedding cruise to Mexico, the couple reside in Greenwood.
