Marcheta and John Davis celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a trip to Seattle in January.
John and the former Marcheta Kuhns were married at Feb. 22, 1970, at New London Friends Church by the Rev. Beck.
The couple met in FFA in high school, and he proposed in a letter from Germany.
She is a bus driver, and he is a farmer.
Their children are Echo Davis, at home, and Robert Davis, Kokomo.
