<p> David Gibson Beard, 64, Kokomo passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born Oct. 15, 1947, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Samuel and Claudia (Walker) Gibson. He was one of three sons born to this union, including Samuel Jr. and Devere. After the death of their parents and grandparents, the boys were adopted by Earl Nathan and Gladie Lee Beard, Kokomo.</p>

She married Alton Leroy Show on April 6, 1933, in Kokomo. Alton preceded her in death on Feb. 16, 2003.</p>
