Laura Ann Catt, 88, formerly of Kokomo, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at the home of her son. She was born Jan. 17, 1924, in Kokomo, to Walter and Lena (Hunt) Gaddis, who preceded her in death. She was married on July 11, 1941, to Clarence “Spike” Catt, who preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 1953.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting, working puzzle books and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, David and wife Linda Catt, Miami; grandchildren, Spike and wife Melissa Catt, Peru, Beth and husband Gary Reinhardt, Tucson, Ariz., Tina and husband Kevin Cain, Miami, Dawn and husband Scott Croxford, Miami; great-grandchildren, Lindsay Catt, Derek Catt, Justin Partlow and Tisha, Mitchell Reinhardt, Quinten Cain, Tanner McReynolds, Marshall Reinhardt, Alyssa Croxford, Maddison Reinhardt, Kristen Herron, Tyler Reed and Dalton Herron; great-great-granddaughters, Sienna and Harper Partlow; sisters, Joy and husband John Krhin and Virginia Henderson; also a very special friend, Larry O’Dell.
She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Judith Catt; brothers, Eugene, Harry, Howard, John and Ralph Gaddis; sisters, Bessie Gaddis, Mary Carlisle, Linda Deaton and Charlotte Gaddis.
As per Laura’s request, there will be no public visitation. The family will have a private graveside service in Kokomo Memorial Park. Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
