Kokomo —
Connie S. Shaw, 64, Kokomo, died at 8:40 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at her home. She was born Aug. 26, 1948, in Tipton County, the daughter of Raymon and Claudine (Poindexter) Netherton. On Dec. 15, 1990, in Kokomo, she married Roger D. Shaw, who survives.
Connie was a 1966 graduate of Tipton High School. She retired from Delco Electronics in 1996.
She attended Radiant Life Ministries and was a member of the UAW Local 292. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She enjoyed crocheting gifts for her family.
Survivors include her husband, Roger, Kokomo; three children, Dana (Donnie) Glaze, Kokomo, Terri (Danny) Freholtz, Sharpsville, and Trisha Moss, Kokomo; her stepchildren, Samantha Biggs, Marysville, Ohio, and Gary (Lynn) Shaw, Marysville, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Joshua Coonce and fiancee Cheri, Amber (Jeremy) Bryant, Tara Glaze, Tasha Glaze, Ashley Freyholtz, Tabby Freyholtz, Cody Moss and Jacob Moss; three stepgrandchildren, Tasha Shaw, Alex Biggs and Kelsie Biggs; five great-grandchildren, Tabi Rowland, Kaleb Rowland, Eli Bryant, Kolton Paul and Isabell Paul; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Brianna Shaw and Bryston Shaw; seven siblings, Eva Netherton, Mike Netherton, Linda (Ed) Mason, Brenda Fike, Ginny (Gary) Smith, Steve (Debby) Netherton and Gina Phifer; 10 nephews and four nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, David Lambert; a nephew, Joshua Netherton; and her brother-in-law, Don Fike.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Pastor Steve Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
