Warren “Ray” McFarland Jr., 63, Walton, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at his home.

Mr. McFarland was born Sept. 1, 1949, in Kokomo, the son of Warren R. and Florence C. (Carden) McFarland. He married Joanna K. (Smolek) McFarland Sept. 7, 1985, in Oak Brook, Ill., and she survives.

He graduated from LeMont High School in Illinois and retired as manager of Raab Kinetico Water Systems in Kokomo. He was a member of the Upper Deer Creek Church, Galveston, and a member of the Praise Team at the church. He enjoyed his music and woodworking.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include sons, Ryan D. (Sara) McFarland, Terre Haute, Bradley T. McFarland, Kokomo, Trustin J. McFarland, Logansport, Kevin W. McFarland, Walton, Christian J. McFarland, Walton, and Isaiah J. McFarland, Walton; daughters, Holly (Sly) Jimenez, Logansport, Colleen (Ty) Willis, Logansport, Olivia R.H. McFarland, Logansport, and Harmony B. McFarland, Walton; brothers, Arthur “Lee” McFarland, Indianapolis, Vernon R. McFarland, Galveston, and Bruce W. McFarland, LeMont, Ill.; sister, Kathryn Koff, Eldorado Hills, Calif.; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Daniel, Kiara, Josiah, Ayden, Lola, Genevieve and Jamie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Collin Ray McFarland, and a sister, Yvonne Fogarty.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Murray Weaver Funeral Home, Galveston, with Pastor Joe Coffin and Pastor Grant Merrill officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery in Cass County.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
