Kenneth D. Kidwell, 80, passed away at 10:36 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Community Howard Regional Health emergency room in Kokomo. He was born Dec. 14, 1932, the son of Claude D. and Zella (Lingel) Kidwell in Marion. In 1955, he married Pearl R. Frame, and she preceded him in death on Jan. 11, 1984. On Aug. 26, 1989, he married Carolyn Kay (Binion) in Gas City, and she survives him.
He was a 1951 graduate of Marion High School, and went on to have a successful career as a tool-maker at Gas City Glass Co. for 29 years, and then at Chrysler for 14 years. Ken served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955. His memberships included the Moose Lodge and VFW in Marion, UAW 685, and he attended Temple Baptist Church. Ken loved fishing, hunting, history and wrestling with his grandsons.
He is survived by his wife; children, C. Michele (Dave) Frye, Noblesville, Cathryn M. (Robert) Tedder, Michigantown, and Kyemichael D. Kidwell, Kokomo; grandchildren, Brian M. (Jessica) Keel, N. Keith (Farron) Keel, Robert (Amber) Keel, James Frye, Rebecca Lawson, Kari Jimenez, Cayla Spencer, Timothy Spencer and Crista Spencer; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Karen (Joe) Veets, and Jim (Jean) Kidwell and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife; a granddaughter, Carlena Spencer; four sisters; and five brothers.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Temple Baptist Church, 1700 S. Goyer Road, with Pastors Mike Holloway and Russell Binion officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery, with military honors provided by the U.S. Navy and the Kokomo V.F.W. Military Rites Team.

Denver R. Walker
Denver R. Walker, 61, Kokomo, formerly of Ridge Farm, Ill., passed away at 6:38 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Century Villa Health Care. He was born Nov. 1, 1951, in Danville, Ill., the son of Denver Ralph and Sarah (Walthall) Walker. On June 7, 1997, he married Cynthia L. “Cindy” Hultz from Veedersburg, and she survives him.

George Frederick “Fred”Bagwell, 79, passed away at 11 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2013, at his residence surrounded by his family. He is now at rest with his Heavenly Father, whom he loved and served. Fred was born Feb. 22, 1934, in Kokomo, to the late Emmett and Dorothy (Clark) Bagwell. He graduated from Kokomo High School.

Christine “Granny” “Mother Goose” Cornelia Ligon, 96, Kokomo, passed away at 3:10 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo. She was born Oct. 25, 1916, in Baron Plain, Tenn., the daughter of the late Tommy and Laura (Turner) King. On July 21, 1934, Christine married Timothy Calvin Ligon Jr. and they were happily married until his passing on Nov. 3, 1956.

Delores Mae Spicer, on May 16, 2013, at the age of 81, gently passed this life in her sleep and was reunited with her husband Jack Wayne Spicer Sr., her Heavenly Father, her Savior, and her beloved son Jerry Dana Spicer.
