Joseph “Coby” Frank Coblentz, beloved husband, soulmate, devoted father, son, brother, uncle, best friend and farmer, passed away at his home on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013. He was born Feb. 11, 1969, and was a 1988 graduate of Maconaquah High School. He met his soulmate at a rodeo, and they truly made each other whole.

He took primary ownership of Coblentz farms in 2012. His hobbies included farming, hunting, fishing, rodeos and spending time with his family. Joe is best remembered by his love for life, which was spread through everyone he met; he didn’t know a stranger. He lived his life for every moment, his sense of humor and laughter carried throughout any room.

Joe is survived by his wife, Jodi; sons, Colt and Brody; his parents, Bill Coblentz and Patricia Coblentz; sisters, Angie Maxwell and Amy Bockover; nephew, Cody Dyer; nieces, Trinity and Hope Bockover; and grandmother, Phillis Coblentz.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for Colt and Brody Coblentz.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Community Center at the Miami County 4-H Fairgrounds. Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Community Center.

Arrangements were entrusted to Allen Funeral Home, Bunker Hill.
