Jackie L. Schrauben

Jackie L. Schrauben, 22, Kokomo, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, in Carroll County. She was born March 28, 1990, in Columbus, Ohio, to Richard and Diana (Sears) Schrauben. She was engaged to Michael Horne, and he survives.

Jackie was a 2008 Kokomo High School graduate and worked for Indiana Packers Corp. She loved music, dance, singing, drawing and reading. Jackie was very passionate about animals.

Survivors include her parents, Richard and Diana Schrauben; two brothers, Philip Schrauben of Virginia Beach, Va., and Jared Schrauben, Kokomo; two uncles, Doug (Ellisa) Schrauben, Lake Odessa, Mich., and Doug Sears, Grand Ledge, Mich.; one aunt, Debbie (Chris) Houke, Charlotte, Mich.; two grandmothers, Linda Sears, Grand Ledge, Mich., and Sandra McCarrick, Portland, Mich; fiancé, Michael Horne.

She was preceded in death by grandfathers, Harold Schrauben and Jerry McCarrick; her Great-grandmother Bahl; and cousin, Marcus Schrauben.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with the Rev. Ruth Lawson officiating. Visitation will be 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
