Ashley Jean Wyant

July 12, 1995 - Jan. 24, 2013

Ashley Jean Wyant, 17, Kokomo, passed away at 6:08 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at her residence. Born July 12, 1995, in Kokomo, she was the daughter of Duane Nathan Wyant and Julie Rene Magnett.  

She was a junior at Kokomo High School who enjoyed singing and bicycling and was an avid Kokomo High School basketball fan. She was also involved in Special Olympics basketball and bowling. She was a member and loved going to Abundant Life Church.

Survivors include her parents, Duane (Kim) Wyant, Sharpsville, and Julie Magnett, Orange County, Calif.; two brothers, Nathan Wyant and Zach Terry, both of Sharpsville; two sisters, Breanna Terry and Ashley Terry, both of Sharpsville; grandparents, Ralph and Jean Wyant, Kokomo, Ken Magnett, Kokomo, Jeanie Ratliff, Marion, Ohio; two uncles, Brian (Joy) Wyant, Kokomo, and Brian (Leah) Magnett, Denver, Colo.; also, special friends, Chris Cox and Tyler Wilhite.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Lenora Magnett.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St. Pastors Charlie Riley and Terry Lindsay will officiate. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
