Randall Gene Coffey Sr., 80, Kokomo, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born Aug. 6, 1932, in Hawkins County, Tenn., to John and Orpha (Anders) Coffey. On Feb. 26, 1955, he married Elizabeth Wellinger, and she preceded him in death on April 19, 2001. On Nov. 19, 2012, he married Mary Wyles, and she survives.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked at Sears and owned the Pizza Palace in Kokomo from 1972 to 1978.
In addition to his wife, Mary Coffey, he is survived by two sons, Douglas Coffey and Randall Coffey Jr.; two daughters, Teresa Brock and Kimberley Smith; one stepson, Jeffrey Bunch; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one brother, Bill Coffey.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Coffey, and two brothers, James and John Coffey.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Messages of condolence may be expressed online at www.sunsetmemorygarden.com.
