Judith K. Haskett, 71, Kokomo, also a resident of North Woods Village, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at Community Howard Regional Health. She was born Aug. 14, 1941, in Kokomo, to the late Raymond I. and Mary E. (McKay) Haskett.
She received her GED from Kokomo High School in 1995.
She was an environmental aide for six years, then became a CNA, and retired from Windsor Estates Health & Rehab Center.
Surviving are her close friends, Becky and Rita Hatt, Patty and Bob Hudson, Mark and Judy Zook and their daughter, Andrea Benedict, all of Kokomo; aunt, Connie McKay, Kokomo. Also surviving are lots of cousins. The family would like to thank North Woods Village and Community Howard Regional Health for taking good care of Judith during her illness.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be directed to either the American Diabetes Association or to the North Woods Village Alzheimer’s unit.
