Destiny Renee Pittman, 21, Kokomo, died at 9:40 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at her home. She was born Jan. 9, 1992, in Kokomo, the daughter of Melvin L. Douglas Jr. and Carla A. (Pittman) McCombs.
She is survived by her parents, both of Kokomo; two brothers, Brandon McCombs, Seth Pickett; two sisters, Cheyenne McCombs, McKenzie Douglas, all of Kokomo; maternal grandmother, Carol Pittman; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her son, Terrance Lee Pittman-Fish; maternal grandfather, Carl Pittman; maternal grandmother, Mary Elliott; paternal grandfather, Melvin Douglas; paternal grandmother, Marjorie Douglas.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, Lincoln Road Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Nettie Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
